Position Title: Field Service Team Lead
Location: Main Office - 459 West Main St., Wyckoff, NJ 07481
Reports To: Director of Operations
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Team Lead to oversee our service operations, manage a team technicians, and ensure the efficient scheduling of customer appointments. The Field Service Team Lead will be responsible for the organization of the service warehouse, final quality control (QC) of new equipment received, and assist with local deliveries using a 14-foot box truck. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in field service repairs, including mechanical adjustments, electrical system diagnosis, and computer troubleshooting. Experience with x-ray equipment is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities

Team Management:
- Supervise, mentor, and manage technicians providing guidance and support for their daily tasks and professional development.
- Coordinate and schedule technicians’ activities to ensure proper daily coverage and efficient use of time.

Customer Scheduling:
- Oversee and manage the scheduling of customer appointments, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and timely response to service requests.
- Maintain effective communication with customers to provide updates and address any service-related inquiries.

Warehouse Organization:
- Ensure the service warehouse is well-organized, clean, and stocked with necessary parts and tools.

Quality Control:
- Conduct final quality control checks on new equipment received to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
- Identify and rectify any issues before equipment is dispatched to customers or deployed in the field.

Local Deliveries:
- Comfortable driving a 14-foot box truck for local deliveries if needed.
- Ensures safe and timely transportation of equipment to customers.

Field Service Repairs:
- Perform mechanical adjustments, electrical system diagnosis, and computer troubleshooting on various equipment.
- Provide on-site service and support to customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provides detailed service reports for company records.
Qualifications

Experience:
- Proven experience in a service management or team lead role, preferably within the technical or equipment service industry.
- Strong background in field service repairs, including mechanical, electrical, and computer troubleshooting.
- Experience with x-ray equipment is highly desirable.

- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting and repairs.

- Valid driver’s license and capability to drive a 14-foot box truck.
- Willingness to travel for deliveries and on-site service calls.
Education: A degree or certification in a related technical field is preferred but not required based on professional experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy equipment.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including customer sites and service warehouses.
